[Resolved] Corrupted/Incorrect Radar Image using mapView

Similar MSFS 2020 issue: Not reported for 2020, but behavior is identical - tested in latest version of both sims today.

Bug description: The radar image creates corrupted/inaccurate images when weather radar is requested above ~140 miles and intermittently with both TERR and WXR.

When WXR is requested beyond 160, the image is correct WXR until ~140nm, then becomes what appears to be a terrain radar.

Additionally, users are reporting that radar images will, on occasion, simply not display at all. Finally, we’re seeing square/blocky WXR images at low resolutions, even with more than adequate resolution.

Repro steps: Request WXR above 160nm, observe. For blank issue, steps unknown - intermittent/uncommon.

Alright, this appears to have been a case of unclear documentation. We did not realize that the FS_MAP_VIEW_WEATHER_RADAR_MODE_TOPVIEW weather radar type would display terrain ALSO.

For anyone with the same question, we changed to horizontal, set a reasonable cone angle, and it worked.

I will have this reviewed anyway as I am not sure if this is expected or a side effect, and I would also like to clarify the range we support.
