We have a complex fuel system that includes lines going through different numbers of junctions for which the flow needs to be balanced. I was able to do that using the FuelFlowAt1PSI parameter for the various lines. I have now found that flow that was carefully balanced in FS 2020 using version 4 of the fuel system is no longer balanced in FS 2024 while still using version 4 of the fuel system. It took more trial-and-error tuning to find significantly different values for the FuelFlowAt1PSI parameter.
Is this difference between FS 2020 and 2024, when using the same fuel system version, expected? Why is it different?
