Is there a way of disabling the Passenger boarding for Freight Aircraft ?
I notice there is an entry under the services header in the \Common\config Folder i.e.
[Services] disable passenger boarding = 1
BUT Of course this disables the pax Loading across ALL Aircraft..
I have tried putting this [services] section under PRESETS but it seems to prevent disconnection of ground power
Any clues people please ?

And once again … several days go by

This sounds like a bug to me.
Moving to bug report section and this will be looked at.

Hello @NightMercury358
I was not able to replicate the issue.
I created a 2nd passengers preset for the 737 Max 8 with boarding disabled and I was able to have the ground power service connected or disconnected at will.
Please provide us with a package that replicates the issue reliably and we’ll investigate further.

Sylvain
Try disabling PASSENGER Boarding from a FRIEGHTER
The same goes for the C208 cargo variation for example. Disabling the passengers service for it does not affect the passengers variation.

Can you please describe your process here ? I am still struggling
- where is the specific aircraft.cfg you are editing ?
- The Aircraft.cfg in \Common\cfgs\ remains or is removed ?
- I am assuming all presets now have their own individual [Services] Entry
Thanks
??
- C208 has an aircraft.cfg in common, with a SERICES section and DISABLE_PASSENGER_BOARDING set to 0 (default value)
- All presets have their own aircraft.cfg without SERVICES section by default
- I added a SERVICES section to the Cargo preset with DISABLE_PASSENGER_BOARDING set to 1
→ The passenger boarding service is no longer proposed in the ATC menu when flying the cargo variant, but all other variants are unchanged.
With SU5, the SimObjectEditor introduced a “Merged Files” view that will let you see which files are merged and what is the result of the merge.
Maybe double check the merged file content for each preset match your expectations.
