Simvar Watcher general engine throttle position not working

Hello, I modified Simvar Watcher to try set my custom variables for axes, it
works perfectly for ailerons, elevators and rudder, but it doesn’t work for
GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER POSITION, even original program doesn’t show any
change in number there, it just remains on zero (percent), no mater what I do
(it should change if I move throttle in the MSFM and aircraft accelerates).
Does anybody else have this problem? Any ideas how to solve it? Kind regards.

Try GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER POSITION plus index

There is no option of index in Simvar watcher, just GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER
POSITION shows only 0 % all the time.

Hello @AP001 Like @Flysimware said the GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER POSITION
need an index to return the right percentage and you can add an index to the
“Index” box in simvarWatcher

The
issue is, if you keep the index at 0,Simvar Watcher will return the percentage
of the engine at index 0 wich is, according to the
doc
,
always 0% because 0 stand for “Off”
Best regards, Yohan

Hello, thank you very much, I thought 0 is for all, 1 changes only ENG no. 1,
but it is fine, I’ll make it for every engine separately. Kind regards

The index in this case is for which throttle lever. There is currently only 4
levers. So 1 through 4. Zero will return nothing because there is no throttle
lever 0. The image you posted is for the fuel selector index list.

So if you have a twin engine and want to watch the variables for both levers
then you need to look at the GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER POSITION with an index
of 1 and another with the index of 2. GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER POSITION:1,
Percent GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER POSITION:2, Percent
