Hello, is there already a solution for the problem? I am really disappointed,
as I bought a Scenery today, among other things to see the beautiful interior
design, and was confronted with the fact that I cannot go inside the building
with the drone camera. This is really very disappointing!!!
Any word from Asobo on when this will be fixed? Affects usage of the drone
camera in handcrafted airports in World Updates for me.
@FlyingRaccoon Could you please tell me if
this is still in the backlog and will it be addressed in a future Sim Update?
Hello @amsmsfs It is in our backlog but I’m unable
to tell when this will be addressed at the moment. Regards, Sylvain
Could we see this fixed in 2020-or will it be fixed for MSFS 2024? Is this
still in the backlog?
This bug is so old its become a ‘feature’. Also still hoping for a fix.
Adding my 2c to that: this ruins the open hangars in my sceneries: if any of
the materials has the collision flag (which I used extensively so the
collisions are realistic) - the plane pops on the roof. Even if the roof
material has the flag disabled, any other detail with it enabled would pop the
plane to the roof (like a beam etc.). So I had to disable the flag in all my
open hangars for CYYJ. But that’s not the best option, as pilots can just
drive through them - not nice… and my interiors are now difficult to see. It
should be better if the collision was disabled for the drone and dev camera,
and also that it would stop planes but won’t pop them up to the roofs - that
behaviour is ridiculous. You just taxi then pop! and you’re on the roof. The
correct behaviour would be to stop when bumping into things, obviously.
I’d rather be able to drive through them than get stopped by them everywhere.
And I hate getting popped to the roof when in drone camera. I’d rather not
have any blocking of the drone camera.
Is this still in the backlog?
Is this issue still in the backlog?
Possibly to be addressed for MSFS 2024 and the 2024 SDK, perhaps, IMHO.
Is this issue still in the backlog?
Affects some WU handcrafted airports like YLRE.
Happy to hear on the SDK Q&A stream this issue is finally addressed as part of MSFS 2024 SDK and the drone camera can enter buildings again.
