Frequency: Consistently

Severity: *Low
(Low - quality of life, workflow optimization, rare enough to not impact production, etc…
High - critical but workarounds are available, important feature not working as expected, frequent enough to impact production
Blocker - prevents from working on the project, prevents from releasing the product)

Marketplace package name: if applicable

Context: What package? When editing or mounted from Community? In main menu or in flight? etc…

Bug description:
The SDK documentation and DA62 sample description has confusing information and does not agree with the DA62 Blender sample file. There is no cover over the wing lights to provide the correct color - ie. navigation red is a white light as described, but there is no red glass to make it red.

All LIGHTS material are required to be named LIGHTS, however the landing lights material is named DETAILS.

In the DA62 blend file there is no “Layer” - 3DS speak meaning Blender Collection named LIGHTS - to be exported “correctly”

The terms Emissive Map, Emissive Value and Emissive Multiplier - don’t relate to blender exporter naming Emissive Scale, Emissive Color, Emissive Day/Night multiplier.

Assume:
Emissive Scale (Blender) is Emissive Multiplier
Emissive Value is the HSV - where V is Value instead of RGB color data
Emissive Map - is the Blender image file for the Emissive texture slot.

Implementing Lights section has a Lightdef with EmMeshMaterialName - but there is no line in the simObject editor picture. as there is in the existing sim.

example material name is LIGHTS_02 not “LIGHTS”

We made some updates in the documentation.

Thank you. That clears up my concerns, and explains things better. EmMesh and Materials is the key.
