See attached screenshot where I placed traditional grass models with material type “Sail” (best suitable for sunlight in MSFS2024). From SU4 on this doesn’t support reading the alphachannel in the texture anymore. Adding a separate blend texture to the material fixes this, but this needs additional VRAM and shouldn’t be the case with backwards compatibility in mind? Doesn’t look like this has been intentional?
