Suddenly, the ground texture turned into a white and gray checker pattern

Hello,
As stated in the title, everything had been working fine until recently. However, one day, part of the ground texture at the airport in a scenery I created suddenly turned into a white and gray checkerboard pattern.

Strangely, if I remove another scenery I created from the folder, the textures display correctly again.
These textures were compiled and placed inside the material folder. I tried changing the texture names and reapplying them, but it didn’t solve the issue.

Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
