Support for other types of helicopter rotor architectures (tandem, Intermeshing, coaxial)

The current helicopter flight model is limited to a single main (lifting)
rotor and a single tail (yaw stabilization) rotor (this architecture is often
called Single Rotor). There are several different dual lifting rotor
architectures: Tandem, Intermeshing and Coaxial. Is there a suggestion on how
to accomplish such designs today? Will support arrive in the future?

+1 to this. Would like to use other kinds of rotor configurations natively
using the default flight model.
