Terraforming problem

@FlyingRaccoon I just discovered a new problem
that never happened before and it is happening with SU5, I have a lot of
terraforming rectangles and many of them with included profiles that have been
damaged when I started working with the airport aprons. I don’t know why this
has happened but it has just damaged a lot of my project work, where there was
a smooth profile now I have a hole. The pictures are just a sample, but the
problem is almost everywhere, and the more I advance placing aprons the more
profiles break.

In my way of working I always
do all the ground work first to place all the buildings or false ground models
and use as reference the satellite image. Finally I proceed to do the
Groundpoly work / aprons and what is happening is that after making many
aprons of different types of surfaces, especially if these are large happens
to damage the profiles of many terraforming rectangles, causing that within
minutes of loading the project these create huge holes and disappear the
smoothing for which it was created.

Thanks for creating a dedicated question  I was able to reproduce the bug
and it will be investigated. The culprit seems to be the handling of the
falloff distance. It’s not interpreted as it used to be. I’ll keep you updated
on this. Regards, Sylvain

@TDM_SceneryDesign We just noticed your airport has its “Apply Flatten” option
checked. Uncheck it and it should be ok. Save and reopen the scenery to force
the DEM regen in case you don’t see the difference straight away.
