The oscillations in the pitch and bank values that occur at touchdown

Version: 1.39.12.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: Blocker

Bug description:

Hello,

This issue has existed for quite some time, and I had been unable to determine its cause. However, I now believe it is related to the issue I previously reported in the link below.

In the flight data received through SimConnect, excessive oscillations occur in the aircraft’s pitch and bank values at the exact moment of touchdown, when both the main landing gear and the nose gear make contact with the runway.

If I force the pitch and bank values to remain at 0, these oscillations disappear completely during landing. This suggests that the pitch and bank values provided by SimConnect are incorrect or unstable at touchdown.

Yesterday, an update was released for MSFS 2020. After installing it, the oscillations seem to have been reduced somewhat, although I’m not yet completely certain.Maybe the issue is only related to the bank values; I’m not sure.

If it would be useful for your investigation, I can provide the recorded pitch and bank data from the touchdown moment in the video.

Repro steps: It occurs at the moment of touchdown.

FSRealistic installed?

Yes, FSRealistic is installed.

Then that’s what’s causing what you’re seeing. it affects the aircraft physics that way.

I’ll disable FSRealistic and try again.
