I’d like to share the following request:
Please unlock the LOD0 models for the in-game Marketplace content. I understand the need for protection for payware content, but I think that we’re at a point where it’s causing unnecessary problems:
Livery creation is very hard for MP content: We’ve only access to sub LOD levels but no LOD0 which can create artifacts on how a repaint appearing in-game - see the attached screenshots e.g. the vertical stabilizer. This shows the problem with using the highest accessable LOD which is LOD1.
With LOD0s being unlocked, the community’s job would be much easier and the rest of the content still would be protected.
Of course the ideal solution would be official paintkits with 3D models included (1st party content), but I understand that it’s hard to achieve, however unlocking LOD0s would be a huge help and step in the right direction.
