Vegetation Polygon Exclude is ignored in a 2020 package

Version: 1.0.77.0

Frequency: Consistently

Severity: High

Context: 2020 Package in 2024 has a Vegetation exclude Polygon which is ignored by 2024

Bug description: A 2020 package polygon placed over an entire area with Vegetation set to 0, is being ignored in 2024. Trees are present within the polygon area.
When loading the package in 2024 editor, the polygon correctly applies the exclude, and the trees disappear.
This is a 2020 > 2024 package compatibility issue.

Repro steps: See Burning Blue Design Thruxton EGHO

Hello @Gobby

Can you please check if the issue is still present with version 1.0.84.0 for you?
I checked but couldn’t see any vegetation at the spot you showed.

Regards,
Sylvain

Yep all seems fine in the latest version.

Thanks

Not working for me

How do you set Vegetation to 0 ?

In MSFS 2020, it was enough to set the Vegetation scale to 0, and it excluded Vegetation

In MSFS 2024 that doesn’t work, you must use Vegetation density to 0 instead, this works.

However, it might be the Vegetation scale property is not working as expected, so it might be worth a check.
