What .NET version when using c# (MSFS 2024)

Hi!
As far as I saw in the docs, the simconnect wrapper dll works with .NET framework 4.7 (Programming SimConnect Clients Using Managed Code).
Is this the intended .NET version for use in new projects ?
I would like to use latests .Net versions.

I’m using .NET 10.0 and VS2026 without issues.
