It’s not uncommon for each window in aircraft to have independent de-ice controls. Would be great if windshield material and simvars could take an index, such that each window could have its deicing control modeled.
Say an airliner has 4 switches for window deice, currently you would just put deicing behaviour on the first switch and have the others just draw power or do nothing.
