Today I came across this remark on WingFlex: «This feature is really only something you need to worry about for larger aircraft like airliners.»
REALLY? I rather think it’s for ALL aircraft, big and small. Gliders, GA, warbirds. A2A’s PA-28 gives an excellent and honorable example of how wingflex shines on small aircraft, too!
I think one should remove that obsolete remark (certainly from pre-VR times) and replace it by an encouragement to make wingflex a standard feature of aircraft design.
