Similar MSFS 2020 issue: Exact same issue exists in FS20
Bug description:
This is for turboprops, but I assume the same issue exists with pistons.
For a constant horsepower input, the RPM decreases and torque goes up.
Torque=Power * 5252 / RPM
When the engine is unfeathered, the torque formula works correctly. Moving the prop lever to a lower RPM setting causes torque to increase. When feathering, though, the formula is completely ignored.
In MSFS, when feathering the engine and as the RPM drops, the torque goes up like it should but as soon as the engine is fully feathered, the torque returns to what it was at idle RPM.
It would be sufficient if the torque formula ran constantly, regardless of feathered or unfeathered state.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The next pair of pictures show low idle torque of 123ft-lbs, RPM of 900 the first. The 2nd image shows a feathered propeller at 150rpm but torque is still 128ft-lbs, whereas it should have been much higher.
