Hello,

Have you tried in the SU4 flighting version? The G1000 v2 is updated to 2.1.8 in it.

We will need your project to reproduce the issue.

Is this an FS2020 or FS2024 package? The ambient brightness vars do not work in FS2020 packages since SU1 so that might be the cause if it is an FS2020 package ([SU1 Beta Regression] AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR SimVar Always Returns 10000).

In that case, this is by design, as the AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR which is used by the G1000 V2 is not available for MSFS2020 packages.
