2024 package to 2020

Hi guys!

As far as I know some very minor things are being changed or are being not recognized when you drag and drop a package from msfs2020 to msfs2024.
I noticed that all the polygons that have materials are gone in msfs2024 in the package you copy pasted to msfs2024 so I was wondering the following.

Im working on a airport for MSFS2024 but I would like to have that airport in MSFS2020 as well, so whats the best I can do?
Work everything in MSFS2020 then change some minor stuff in MSFS2024 or work everything in MSFS2024 and copy paste to MSFS2020, will it work?

I have the same question, as far as I can tell, the 2020 project once saved with 2024 will crash 2020, lost a project since I forgot to copy it… have to redo most of the stuff… unless there is a solution?

In that case I think the best option would be to have the package done in MSFS2020, duplicate the folder and open and convert for MSFS2024.Hope it will work, but lets see what someone from Asobo will say.
