Hello @PILOTSdev,
The fix has been made 1 year ago.
Did you update the sdk core since ?
Regards,
Boris
Good afternoon @Boris ,
I’m using SDK version 0.24.3, which I believe is the very latest version.
When I compile our Boeing B-314 flying boat, this is the error message I see:
This is unchanged from last year, when I compile our Dash 7, I also see the exact same thing:
Both aircraft were exported via 3ds Max 2022, then compiled via SDK 0.24.3.
In October last year you eluded to the fact that this was fixed for Blender, but that the 3ds Max fix was still being worked on. Is there a manual step involved to apply such a fix via the SDK, or why am I still seeing the above error messages?
Best regards,
Jerome
If you have updated the SDK since then, it means that at least one GLTF file was exported before the fix.
You can open your GLTF file with a text editor, like Notepad, to inspect the content.
Look for the GLTF file that contains ‘ASOBO_material_windshield_v2’.
Once you find it, re-export it from 3dsmax.
After the export, open it again, and it should now contain ‘ASOBO_material_windshield’ instead of ‘ASOBO_material_windshield_v2’.
Hope it helps,
Regards,
Boris
Thank you @Boris , that did the trick. There were some higher level LOD model files that had not been re-exported since 2023, as they hadn’t changed. Doing a fresh export resolved the issue.
Thanks again and regards,
Jerome
