747 THR and SPD buttons not set using SimConnect

Hi,

I’ve tried many eventIDs to ‘push the button’ in the 747 MPC for THR and SPD.

For example, ‘AUTOPILOT AIRSPEED HOLD’, ‘Bool’, does not work.

THR and SPD just don’t activate when using SimConnect.

I’m starting to think the 747 is a special case aircraft but surely that can’t be right???

Anyone have any ideas?

The THR and SPD buttons have specific criteria for when and what they do (if anything) according to the FCOM. They are activated by the input events (B:AUTOPILOT_THR_Button) and (B:AUTOPILOT_SPD_Button) respectively.

Hi,

Yes, they have specific criteria based on the aircraft configuration.

However, I’ve searched the SDK Documentation for “AUTOPILOT_SPD_Button” and there’s no reference to it.

Also, if I can’t read the state of the airspeed hold function the button (which I assume is ‘AUTOPILOT AIRSPEED HOLD’, ‘Bool’), then I have no visibility on whether it’s actually been pressed/active or not.

Hopefully someone here, maybe Asobo, will have some more information.
