When I use the metal material style, only part of the ATR corresponding map is displayed correctly, and there seems to be a problem with the fuselage and the right wing.
I checked and found
ATR_AIRFRAME_FUSELAGE_42_1_COMP
ATR_AIRFRAME_FUSELAGE_42_2_COMP
ATR_AIRFRAME_WING_RIGHT_42_COMP
The metal material display of other locations on the outside of the fuselage is fine, as shown in the figure;
After the last ATR update, this problem still exists; The same problem also occurs with STOL;
72-600 does not have this problem;
about the 42-600 STOL model, the tail rivet model has a problem;
I reported this issue to Hans before, and he suggested that I report it here;
42-600S The tail model does not match the fuselage, and there is a very obvious gap between the two;
72-600F miss texture;
@JedWong.JEDStudio,
As explained in your other post, we won’t deal with requests about fixing content in here (tail rivet positioning, tail model not matching the fuselage) - these are modelling issues that should be fixed by the person(s) who made the aircraft.
The issue with the metal material may be something we can look into but you’d need to explain a bit more what you have been doing - which textures did you change? Did you change other files?
That being said we are rather busy with preparing the MSFS 2024 DevAlpha so I doubt we’ll have time to investigate this issue in the next few days.
Best regards,
Eric / Asobo

I personally guess that the problem is still with the model. There is something wrong with the material settings on the model, which causes the comp texture not display correctly;
In the default Livery, you will find that the metal material effect of the 42-600 pitot tube is also displayed incorrectly.
I spend more time making liveries and adjusting some default airports.
When problems such as model, uv, texture, and lod are found, if there is a better channel to feedback to the developers, it should help improve them.
Communication with third-party developers will be very efficient, and problems can be solved even one or two days before release;
But problems such as dc-3 and atr have been discovered for more than a year. Although I have communicated with AH and Hans, the reply is that Microsoft also needs to coordinate these modifications.
It does not mean that such problems should be dealt with immediately. The current situation is that products such as these Microsoft cooperation products need an effective feedback channel;
Thanks Eric
