Adding animated people to an airport scenery

Multiple demos of 2024 showcased a world populated with people: people dressed locally, walking around, boarding planes etc. I was looking forward to being able to add some people to my airport terminals, passageways leading to jetways etc.

However, I wasn’t able to find any mention of doing that in the SDK documentation.

Is it possible to add stock animated people to the airports, perhaps with paths? Does anyone care to comment?

This.
the first thing I search for is the SDK was a way to move people around,
the parking/bus/airplane are great, but those people are so high quality that having a way to move them around in the 3d space would be top (and quite expected)
We just need some more vars generic vars to open doors

I also couldn’t find anything in the docs to allow adding people to scenery (separate to the ‘boarding’ functionality of aircraft)

Seems like a big miss

Hmm, I missed that one. Looks pretty limited in regards to placing people inside terminals. There is a mention of “sitting area” so maybe there is a way to sit people inside terminals? Though how that would work is not clear. Will the seats be spawned? What about different levels or multiple gates - will only the one destined for player’s aircraft be populated?

I wish there would be a simple way to create random airport life in and around the terminals…

From what I understood, in the cfg file for each parking, there are spots specified as seating areas, which I believe are nodes placed in the models

That’s what I saw too, but I wonder how would those seating areas work. Will people be sitting… On what? My seats won’t obviously work for that, so will they be spawning seats? Which gates - all of them or only where the aircraft is boarding? It would be nice if there would be a tutorial…
