Am I allowed to do this within MSFS 2024 with lights?

I was messing around with lights feature within the MSFS 2024 sdk and built a simple morse code transmitter and receiver multiplayer mod to help users communicate. Am I allowed to do/publish this mod?

I don’t know that this can be answered here. That’s a Terms of Use question more than anything else. You might want to inquire with Zendesk as you’d want Microsoft to give you a response as the publisher.

According to the Markeplace Partner agreement, there is no problem about such addon (It Is not explicitly forbidden)

I’m curious about the implementation,
scenery lights are invisible at anything more that a couple of miles

And curios about the current use of morse code in aviation, maybe control towers can send a message to airplanes when there is no radio contact?

Control towers use what’s called a light gun for aircraft either without radios or with non-functioning radios.

This graphic says “helicopter” on it, but it’s the same signals for fixed wing:

Here’s what it looks like from an aircraft:

What happens if multiple users start transmitting? Does it have something build in to prevent that? But as Mamu said, what about the distance? Else you might want to check if multiplayer chat has more options to make a extra window for morse or something.
