ANTI ICE system on piston engine seems to be not working

Seems there is no way to set RECIP CARBURETOR TEMPERATURE (Celsius).
programmatically:

  • fsVarsAircraftVarSet(id, unitId, param, newValue) does not change simvar value
  • using SimConnect same as above
  • using XML (>A: RECIP CARBURETOR TEMPERATURE, Celsius) same as above
  • Also toggling the TOGLE ANTI ICE event does not change the carburetor temperature even if it moves the DEICE lever to 100%.
  • all test done in icing conditions.

There is a regression on how some simvars are written. I have logged a bug for this.
Regarding how icing influences this temperature, I need some feedback from our core engineers as I am not sure what the expected behavior is.

Thank you for your answer.
What I expect by opening the hot air tap is to see an increase in temperature at the carburetor and simultaneously an increase in engine RPM, which does not happen.
