Hello @SeafrontSims
A fix is in the pipes but is unlikely to make it into SU1.
Regards,
Sylvain
Hi Sylvain
Chances for it in SU2? Thanks!
Yes, that’s the plan.
So in su2 beta there will be flightplans inside of trafficAircraft.bgl?
OK su2 is live. There is indeed trafficAircraft.bgl sized 31,1gb.
But it isnt working. No planes. Here is comparison pic of 2020 .bgl and 2024 .bgl. Same aircrafts, so i guess 2024 .bgl are trying to use msfs2020 airplanes.
@FlyingRaccoon - Were the devs able to get my test scenery working with this latest SU2 Beta?
I’m not seeing any difference. What settings should we have set?
Thanks,
Chris
Hello @SeafrontSims
Yes, I tested it myself with the fix candidate, and saw your traffic ships sailing around the island.
You need to make sure your traffic settings is set to AI and related graphics settings are high enough.

Sylvain
Thanks @FlyingRaccoon
I can see ships now but a large number are not moving according to schedule. I have just done some A-B testing between MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 with the same settings, date, time and location (Gibraltar) with Global Shipping.
MSFS2020
You can see plenty of moving ships.
MSFS2024
You can see the ships are clustering. As some of the ships are moving in MSFS2024 I wonder if the schedule function is timing out in MSFS2024?
I don’t think this bug is fully fixed yet. Happy to work through this in the DMs.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi @FlyingRaccoon - I have sent a PM with our latest test results.
