Black artefact on shiny material

Mainly a question directed to Asobo. I am curious about the black circular artifact that appears when approaching shiny objects. Is this related to the game’s handling of reflections, such as the cubemap? Or something else?

In the first picture I can see there are 2x spheres. I suspect this is the second sphere “shadowing” the reflection. I have seen similar artefacts on ocean reflections, in the shape of my aircraft. Your artefact is round, as your object.

Indeed there are 2 spheres.
There is no sphere on the other sides.
I even tried with only one cube, and this rounded artefact is still there.

Can you also guys test how metals look at night? in my case it seems they fail to receive any lighting inside the cockpit, causing metal areas to remain “black” despite lighting (.FX bulbs) being available in the environment.

Just want to confirm is not me doing something wrong…
