Since SU11, when we try to build some materials using detail textures, they
will work on some but fail on some other materials, leading to pinkies. The
problem doesn’t happen with every material, it only bites certain textures .
We are getting this error when building:
When used, the detail albedo is RGB 8bpp, detail COMP is 16bpp and detail
normal is 16bpp as well. We checked for illegal characters
This is the message we are getting with our PC-12. The detail textures work
fine in all materials except one.
It may be related, but the default TBM doesn’t have the plastic detail normal
now. The default C172 has it just fine. Image: TBM missing detail normals.
