There’s GPS DRIVES NAV1 for CDI 1. Since we can no longer always read the NAV CDI:1/2 variable, because that now only contains/shows nav data (it used to follow the needle, wether it was set to NAV or GPS), we have to use GPS CDI NEEDLE:1/2 (I think?)
For the first CDI there’s GPS DRIVES NAV1, but there is no GPS DRIVES NAV2.
I can check the state of the GNS430, but that is no guarantee at all. Beause what if the aircraft has a different GPS setup?
I don’t really see the point why the behavior of NAV CDI:1/2 was changed in the first place, but I guess I will just have to deal with it.
