Hello @Kem_Pesim , What’s the error ? Do you have the same behavior when you
select a new / old material ? Can you send us your package please ? [See 3)

Hello, The error is that it has always been , design an appron , select a
material e.g : Asobo concrete And then in properties , click on surface button
, now it don’t work anymore … It is adding a red error and surface isn’t
applied. I don’t undertstand why this base function as been modified as we
work like this from the begening. I am completly stuck at this point. Drag and
drop the material to surface propertie don’t work as well. I must add that in
the Material inspector , i have a red error as well when select any asobo
material "Material is not from selected asset group and can be changed "
Assuming is because it is a Asobo Material Yes i 'll send you the package.
regards
@Kem_Pesim , Does drag and drop apply the material ? [A 3rdP mentioned a
problem of this type
here](https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/questions/10679/su10b-material-
to-painted-lines-drag-and-drop-slow.html), that was fixed for SU11.
I have had issues with this as well. I found if I closed the Material Editor
window, then selected the Surface, a new Material Editor window pops up, and
you can drag’n’drop a material to the Surface. I usually have issues with the
surface displaying properly, or at all, at times. Going away a distance
sometimes corrects the problem. (Polygons also have problems with the display,
sometimes showing deleted polys that will not go away).
No drag and drop don’t work . i will try to find the small aera like 3rdp said
in his post.
Hi @Kem_Pesim , I wasn’t able to reproduce this behavior with your package.
Can you show me with a video please ?
Hi @rhumbaflappy , i was able to apply your solution thank you very much !! It
was needed to moved the propertie windows from another position on my screen
maybe due to superposition. Thanks a lot for your help !
The behavior of my simulator, with SU10 and SDK19.3, is the following.
I create an apron, see it correctly with the default material, and can add falloffs and colorings without any problems.
If I change the material, through the Material Editor, the apron becomes transparent or is covered with a white and gray checkered texture. Even closing the M.E. and reopening it no longer changes anything.
If I have an old apron in the scenario with a texture that suits me, I copy its properties and paste them into the new apron, which at this point is perfectly visible.
From this I deduce that the problem is exclusively of the M.E., with some bugs that do not allow its regular operation.
This behavior is the same for all types of aprons and also for taxiways.
This behavior manifests itself in different scenarios, built recently or even months ago.
Nothing like this happens on the PC of a developer friend of mine. Thanks to anyone who can help me.
“Even closing the M.E. and reopening it no longer changes anything.” Close the
Material Editor, then click on Surface in the already opened Properties
window. This should open a new Material Editor window, and you can then
drag’n’drop.This is my experience.
I have stumbled onto a solution for using the Materials Editor with the
Properties Editor. It appears both windows need to be transparent, or the
drag’n’drop won’t work.
