Bug description: When opening the Sim and enabling DevMode via the settings and then going into Carrer Mode disables it, but UI in the setting remains on enabled but the switch is disabled. So a full restart of the Sim is required to change it.
Ah, I had this happened to me also but didn’t realize it was because I had gone into Career. But going back into a freeflight brought the dev mode toolbar back for me (this was still the initial release version, before updates).
Probably OT but BTW, doing a career mission from the dev mode tool will hose any actual career the user may have started. I had to start over like the first career I started never happened. I’m bringing it up in case there’s any relation.
I’m experiencing the same issue, seem like developper mode is not supported in carrer mode. Plus a bug there, if you enter career mode once lauching the game, you won’t be able to toggle developper mode unless you go to the free flight section or restart the game
