Since we have operable fuel and electrical systems available, are there plans
to implement detailed hydraulic systems as well? I’ve noted that some of the
cfg entries that used to be valid in previous sims no longer seem to be
recognized, such as max_reservoir_pressure_efficiency &
min_pct_rpm_for_max_pressure. Not that those were extensive enough anyhow.
What would be useful is to have an hydraulic system that mimics the fuel
system, enabling an aircraft to mimic having multiple hydraulic pressure
producers & consumers, isolated from each other, complete with accumulators.
Hello @MV-JimStewart Yes, we have such plans. Way too early to tell when it
will be available though. Regards, Sylvain
Hi Sylvain/Asobo Team. I wanted to check in to see if there are any updates on
this? Thanks. Shervin
Yes, this would be very useful.
Right now there is no way to simulate a hydraulic gear circuit. So this is
much needed.
Hello everyone. This is still planned. Don’t expect it to be available in the
near future though. Regards, Sylvain
Looking forward to it.
On a similar topic , is there any progress is updating the “Electrical
Systems”, in particular, the promised simulation of “Battery Internal
Resistsnace”, and the corresponding drop in Battery Terminal Voltage (Bus
Voltage), as a function of current drawn. (or as a function of other battery
variables). There does not seem to be a way to introduce RESISTANCE (or
Diodes) onto a Buss Connection, (its either ON or OFF)
