DevAlpha access for non-marketplace developers?

During the live stream today the team announced the DevAlpha will be available in late October. Yay!

Unfortunately, it came with the caveat that it would only be for marketplace developers.

How can non-marketplace developers verify their apps work and install properly with MSFS2024 prior to the release date? There are tons of apps that do not ship through the marketplace: Navigraph, SimToolKit Pro, vPilot (VATSIM), MobiFlight, Spad.next, AxisAndOhs, etc.

As a client of many of the services you listed, I cannot overstress how important this is.

As a lowly World Hub editor, I doubt we’d have a place to land in such an alpha, but looking for potential avenues for that as well.

I filled it in but there was no way for me to indicate I’m a developer who wants to validate an app vs. some random person who just wants to play around with 2024 before it goes live.

Is there some way to flag my submission so I don’t have to hope it gets picked by virtue of my hardware config?

This is a Technical Alpha, not a Dev Alpha. Those are 2 separate things.

Ah. Well, I guess I will continue to wait for news of the dev alpha :crossed_fingers:
