I connected a 3 way switch to Mobiflight so I can start the engines of the DHC-6 in FS2024 without the mouse.
When you start the right engine by clicking on the switch in the cockpit inside FS2024 the right engine starts. After that is automatically goes back to the middle position. After that you can do the same for the left engine.
But if I do this with the real switch it goes a bit different. Selecting the right engine position executes “1 (>B:ENGINE_IE_STARTER_Inc)”. I also used “2 (>B:ENGINE_IE_STARTER_Set)”. What happens is that both the left and right engine are starting at the same time. When open the Fuel (the two handles with the red knobs) both engine start up like normal.
So something extra then setting “ENGINE_IE_STARTER” to 2 is happening when you select the starter switch to the right with the switch inside FS2024. I looked in the developers behaviour mode but can’t see anything changing but the ENGINE_IE_START.
Is there a way to see what is happening exactly when you do the right engine start with the switch inside FS2024 ?
