Different EGT timings for startup and shutdown?

Hello,

I was trying to fine-tune the EGT timings for my piston aircraft, but without success. Currently, the SDK provides only one parameter, ‘egt_tc’, which defines the speed at which the EGT reaches a target.
When starting up a piston engine in real life, the EGT reaches about 650°C at idle from the OAT in a relatively short time. However, when shutting down the engine, the EGT takes much longer to cool down to the OAT.
With only the ‘egt_tc’ parameter available, we can’t have different timings for startup and shutdown. According to the ‘egt_tc’ formula in the SDK, the ‘egt_delta_from_mixture_ratio’ doesn’t help since the mixture ratio is the same at 0.09.
Is there any way, using the current parameters, to have different EGT timings for startup and shutdown? I prefer using SimVars as much as possible and would rather not create a custom Lvar for EGT.

If this is not possible, could you consider adding an additional ‘egt_tc_cooling’ parameter?

Thanks in Advance!
Ioannis
