Good morning. I am writing to you to ask for help with a problem I have
encountered. In the WORLD UPDATE that was launched on Spain, this includes an
airport that conflicts with one of mine that is for sale since long before, it
is LECO A CORUÑA Airport, I need to know if there is any way to make an
exclusion on any airport or any other element of this nature. For now the
solution is that customers uninstall that airport manually, but that bothers
many people and right now I must release an update that solves many problems
and some of the stores that sell my airport and the Marketplace refuse to
place a warning note where the customer is informed of the method to follow
for the airport to work properly, which is to uninstall the version of ASOBO.
any help on this please?
Hello @TDM_SceneryDesign , This is being
investigated I’ll let you know when I know more Regards, Boris
@TDM_SceneryDesign , Can you specify
which conflict you are referring to? Duplicated objects / ILS / Markings … ?
You can use the exclusion rectangle
to
hide objects from other sceneries from the world updates. Just be aware that
the rectangle must be big enough to cover the whole airport. Regards, Boris
is a complete airport (terminal buildings, hangars, grounpoly, projected mesh
etc. etc. etc.). I have tried all possible exclusions and I can’t get it to
disappear. This is the LECO Airport that ASOBO included in the Iberia World
Update.
@TDM_SceneryDesign Can you send us your
project and some screenshots showing the issue ? [See 3) Provide Private
Content](https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/articles/5483/how-to-report-a-
bug-or-crash.html) Regards, Boris
Yes, no problem, I will prepare and sen.
@Boris1 Hello again. You already have the package in
private. the problem, as you can see in the images, is that the airport that
is included in the WORLD UPDATE IBERIA (LECO A CORUÑA) is not excluded and
people who use my airport have problems of terrain elevations, duplicity of
buildings, as I indicated, the solution for now is that they remove it from
the content library, many do not know how to do it and now that I must publish
an update, Marketplace and other stores do not want to publish the product
with a note that specifies this problem and the solution. I want to know if
there is a way that when my airport is installed, I can exclude the airport
from the world update. Microsoft Flight Simulator Screenshot 2022.12.19 -

customers the problem caused is much more serious.
An excluding package: !-exclude-airport-
leco
Alter the example as needed. Multiple, smaller polys and rectangles give finer
control. The ! which starts the package name forces the package to be loaded
before other Community addons, and after the Official addons. Compilation may
show a validation error, but the package is still built.
Hello @TDM_SceneryDesign , As I said in
the post above, you should use a large e xclusion rectangle with "
excludeAllObjects ". I was able to remove the objects from the LECO scene
from the word update as you can see :
Regards, Boris
@Boris1 woo, the exclusion rectangle is huge, I
hadn’t thought of making it that big. I was making individual rectangles the
size of each building, that’s why it wasn’t working. thanks so much for the
help, you guys are awesome. I apologize for the inconvenience.
