Bug description: When the EFB is used to set aircraft payloads, all values are set, including the empty weight CG. In canard aircraft, the CG is forward of the wing, which results in a negative %MAC CG. The EFB clamps the CG to a positive value when the “Load Aircraft” button is pressed, and the slider can only be set from 0-100% MAC. This means that canard aircraft flip over backwards when any payload change is made.
Is there any indication of whether we’ll see a fix for this in the upcoming SU3? As mentioned above, this is a critical issue for a couple of our aircraft.
With the SU3 release now rapidly approaching, is there any indication of whether this will be addressed or deferred until SU4 or beyond? I can see that the status is set to bug logged but it’s not clear on the status of the fix.
Hello @MartynJF and my apologies for the late response.
This will not be fixed with SU3.
I don’t have an ETA for the fix and I tend to not give one unless I have a tested fix candidate in the pipes.
I will update this topic for SU4 flighting if we have moved forward.
This is fixed with SU5 Beta. There will still possibly be an error displayed in the EFB when pressing “Load Aircraft” but this is unrelated and does not prevent the aircraft from being loaded according to the new request.
