I’m using the INCREASE_HELO_GOV_BEEP, DECREASE_HELO_GOV_BEEP in RPN and while
they do have an effect when I bind them to a keyboard button and push it, they
don’t have any effect in my XML PRN Update code. I guess that’s due to the
reason they are increasing and decreasing the trimmer as a ratio per second,
not a fixed value per button press. Is there any way around it? A
SET_HELO_GOV_BEEP Event would be even better.
Hello @GutsherrBus9 You are right, these events are only supported through
inputs at the moment as they require info about the elapsed time the action
has been active. They are ineffective when called programmatically at the
moment. I have forwarded the information to our systems developers so this is
reviewed. Thank you for the feedback. Regards, Sylvain
Adding on to this - I’d suggest that the ability to control the governor trim
from inside the cockpit is quite important so as to allow control without the
user having to configure keybinds that they or may may not be aware even
exist.
Hi guys, sorry for the late reply (as one says better late than never), yes,
we’ll add SET_HELO_GOV_BEEP event, it will be in SU 13. Thank you for your
report, and cooperation! S!
