I feel like, this should be added into the DEV tools under Polygon, vegetation - allow people to place fields, like is seen in the loading screen. Dynamic fields that will react to helicopters/wind - or even if they’re not dynamic. At the moment, placing them by hand isn’t doable and creates an unnecessary mess in the BGL file.

You can place “crops” manually - there is some assets in the base-fs called “corn adult” etc… that you place one by one - once you’ve made a small row, you can now duplicate them. However this adds a lot of issues. 1 - it adds so much more load into the BGL file, 2 - it can cause A LOT of lag. 3 - they’re NOT dynamic (They wont react to CFD, wind or helicopters). Overall I’ve given up on doing this in my projects as it takes far too long and causes more problem than what its worth at the moment.

I’m going to be making my own farm assets pack shortly that will be more FPS friendly and large density meaning less copying and pasting If your interested (They also WONT be dynamic to CFD’s)

Yes, having access to the procedurally generated grass and crops types would help a lot adding realism. The usual approaches with normal models are just too heavy on performance and don’t look as good in the distance.
