We are trying to create an engine fuel system like the one illustrated below. After the engine pump, a fuel meter sends the engine as much fuel as it needs and any excess fuel is returned through the return bypass (bottom of image).
If after the pump we have 100psi of pressure and 100pph, but the engine line allows for 90pph at 100psi, the remaining 10pph should go back through the return flow circuit. Is that possible in the modern fuel system?
