Context: Honeycomb Bravo autopilot when set to IAS; tested in the CJ4, but also reported in the forums that this happens on other A/C.
Bug description:
Cannot control engines when MCP is set to IAS
Repro steps:
Plug in a Honeycomb Bravo and start cold and dark with the rotor set on IAS. Even when cold and dark there is an audible alert ‘bong’ until that rotor is moved off IAS.
When the engines are started with the rotor in IAS the engines run up to 100% and cannot be controlled by the throttles. It doesn’t matter if the AP is on or off.
