Context: MB-339 and other planes with separate cockpit and external models (planes that use withExterior_showInterior=false in the model configuration)
Bug description: When starting from parking (“Avatar” / walkaround mode) everything is OK: external model shows. Then you jump into the cockpit…and everything is OK again (internal model shows)… but now if you exit the aircraft again the model does not switch back to “external model”, and the “internal model” shows instead.
Repro steps: See bug description. Consistent with the MB.339.

Same issue here, maybe there is a configuration like the “withExterior_showInterior=false” but instead of exterior will be PreFlight (in preflight, not show the interior)…
…I just think that the sim assumes that the interior and exterior models are “merged” in the recommended Asobo fashion. As far as I can see the only problem is just that the sim does not switch back to the external model only (in case the plane is configured like that) once you step out of the airplane AFTER you have stepped in.
Issue does occur in aircraft following Modular approach as well.
Experiencing the issue in 3 different aircraft, one fully 2020, 2nd a hybrid (FS24 but non-modular) and a 3rd one fully modular. Exactly the same issue on all three.
@FlyingRaccoon I’d say its partially fixed. Exiting the aircraft to walkaround mode does NOT change the camera from cockpit to external (starting on walkaround is always consistently external). Any feature that tracks the camera state is rendered unusable when user exits the aircraft as the switching is not consistent.
Walkaround by definition is external, and as such the camera should be forced to switch to external, so the CAMERA STATE variables switch along with it.
