LOD calculations seem to have an error

Similar MSFS 2020 issue: No

Bug description: LOD draw call count is too high, LOD vertex count is too high.

See here where LOD7 is displayed:

48 draw calls and 74,284 vertex. That defies logic and I don’t see how it could be possible.

This is the LOD7 model:

It has 400 vertex.

Repro steps:

  1. Load H225
  2. Enable LOD debug
  3. Zoom out

Expected: This LOD7 should be viewable from quite a distance
Actual: LOD7 is culled very quickly (the exterior becomes invisible), and the LOD debug statistics seem wildly disproportional.

I have to agree that it seems odd such a model would use 70k+ vertices.
Is there a chance you could send me a sample package with the model so that I can check why it’s giving such strange numbers?
