MSFS 1.37.19.0
SDK 0.24.3
Hello Microsoft/Asobo,
When in Developer Mode and “grabbing” and moving some knobs and levers in our cockpit, they immediately move to their maximum value before it becomes possible to set them properly by moving the mouse cursor.
Two examples:
-
When clicking a thrust reverser lever with the left mouse button in order to move it slowly from idle, the lever jumps immediately to 100%.
-
When clicking the altitude selector knob for the autopilot with the left mouse button, the value jumps immediately to 60000 feet (the maximum value for our model).
This happens only when in Developer Mode. Knobs and levers behave normally when DevMode is turned off.
We do not have this strange behavior when using the mouse wheel to set the knob or lever when in DevMode; we get it only when trying to grab and drag the lever or rotate the knob by moving the mouse cursor.
This issue makes it very difficult to test our knobs and levers when in Developer Mode.
This is very similar to the issue encountered with 3-position switches while in DevMode as reported long time ago in one of my previous posts (they always move to position 2 before moving to positions 1 and 0 when dragged with the mouse – they behave normally when set with the mouse wheel):

Hope this helps.
Note:
For our thrust reversers, we are using the ASOBO_ENGINE_Lever_Throttle_Template
For most of our knobs and 3-position switches, we are using the ASOBO_INSTRUMENT_Base_Template
