So this largely came about as a result of annoyance after flying the stock
JMB-3 and the Black Square VelocityXL, I have a little time on a real G3X
touch system and there is a way on those to specify which panel and location
to display the engine instrumentation, however on MSFS I can’t see any way to
change it except to dig directly into the AS3X touch js file? basically all
I’m looking to do is have the PFD display the engine information as it does in
reversionary/single unit mode, or ideally switch which side of the MFD it
appears on. I’m not a trained programmer, just know enough to be dangerous, so
I was able to find the controlling code (official/asobo-vcockpits-instrumnets-
navsystems/html_ui/pages/vcockpit/instruments/navsystems/as3x_touch/as3x_touch.js)
but not familiar enough with js programming to know how to write a patch to
achieve the desired result. the actual g3x behavior for the curious is to
press menu twice, then use the setup in there to specify the location of the
strip, but the settings menu is currently not implemented.
