Note this is a main feature of this aircraft in real life, the registration number is powered up by LEDs, I was able to replicate this perfecly in MSFS 2020.
In addition inside MSFS 2024, I note when interior Vpaints registration are in a position with low light as on this aicraft, they are not rendering proper white… and as a result they are almost invisible.
They are also flikering a lot… in hence why I am flagging this as “high” the constant flikering on the VPaint registration in front of the user is very disturbing and annoying and it would make customer to complain a lot to us about the issue.
Repro steps:
Load FSR500 and inspect the registration, I send the package before in another ticket via PMs if you need it again just let me know
Thanks for following it up, the issue with the emissive remains. However we get now the registration in white, with the emissive value not working.
In addition the registrations are still displaying quite different from MSFS 2020, the font is totally wrong and as a result they are not fitting in the square of the UV for REGS as they do in MSFS 2020. Compare with the 1st picture I posted in the original report.
Something else is odd with registrations, the simulator is not respecting the “custom” registration we put in the livery configuration, for example I put FSR002, but it gets changed automatically for something else, above for example changed to G-VVLC.
This is an issue as when people fly with VATSIM with free flight as they want to put their own regs and would like to keep them regardless of which country they are… same would apply for people that fly on VAs (Virtual Airlines), just a feedback on that.
