Context:
AzurPoly C160 Transall in free flight, starting from runway.
Bug description:
When starting from runway, engines struggle to continue running.
In some cases, before clicking on “Start flight” button, we can hear the engines shutting down, and one of both engines will actually shut down.
The issue is happening randomly.
Also, we have a fuel system trigger to detect autostart: Trigger.1 = Name:"Autostart"#Condition:Autostart_Enabled#EffectTrue:StartPump.PAg1,StartPump.PAg2,StartPump.PBg1,StartPump.PBg2,StartPump.PAd1,StartPump.PAd2,StartPump.PBd1,StartPump.PBd2
This trigger is executed when starting from runway (see Simvar Watcher) which does not make sense as engines are already running. This does not happen in MSFS 2020.
Repro steps:
Load the AzurPoly C160 Transall (FS2020 package) inside FS2024 Community folder.
I still have it unfortunately, but it is happening very randomly.
I tried to replace the FUEL_SYSTEM with a legacy FUEL section, and it seems to fix the problem, so I think it is related to a regression in the fuel system. My guess it that it could be linked to this: [FS2020 port] FUEL_SYSTEM lines to engines drain
Hello @FlyingRaccoon,
It seems autostart is not triggered anymore after last update, so I guess it solved the problem.
I did not have any engine shutdown so far.
