Open Project

I have tried to set up an SDK project to create an airport.
When I try to load it I get the error message “Project load failed. The project could not be loaded”.
I started again from the beginning at “New Project” with the same result.
Can someone please provide me with a link to the setup instructions?

Hello @lumbco ,
Are you sure that you’re opening the XML file located at the root of your project?

Example: in the screenshot bellow, you should open ‘totoaircraft.xml’ in the project editor.

Thanks Boris, you are spot on.

I must have set up the project incorrectly, I have all the named folders exactly as in your screenshot, but instead of an XML file there is an HTML file.
It would be a huge time saver for a beginner like me if you could give me a clue as to my error?

@lumbco ,

None of the tools provided within the project editor, nor the samples in the SDK, have HTML at the root. Therefore, my guess is that this issue is due to either an incorrect copy or a typo made during the renaming of the XML.
