Just wanted to really quick reply to you and thanks for your info but
These aren’t attachments they are part of the aircraft exterior model. They are all in the same visible level of the rest of the body. But I can see my objects from the exterior camera. When I’m inside the cockpit I can’t. So I’m assuming the interior aircraft is the culprit.
So naturally that specific area (cockpit area) does end in a potential newly excluded area (in SU2).
As this is a modified aircraft the relies on the default Asobo plane (which cockpit is spawn by a fallback), the specific area is at the moment excluding any foreign objects.
So it could be that some exclusion has converted to another type (in SU2) and its “removing/deleting” foreign objects. This can be our issue at this moment.
It sounds like an LOD issue. You said they are part of the “External Model”. Did you create multiple LOD’s of your parts, and put them in each of the LOD’s of the External model?
Given all the LOD issues discussed in a thread in the bug reports section, it’s possible that the external model is so big, it thinks the user shouldn’t be able to see those objects because they are “too far away” (LOD calcs do weird things).
There’s no LOD01 and more at the moment on this aircraft. It’s all LOD00.
Normally external objects are viewable inside a simobject.
I’m going to review that bug section about it but keep in mind that the objects are in the cockpit area. It’s possible a new technique has been introduced which optimizes the experience for the user by cutting out anything external inside a cockpit.
