It does need the 787v1 installed but that’s not the problem. We have confirmed the 4simmers 787-9 can be selected and is flyable via streaming. Therefor our issue is deeper which only Asobo can determine.
We have identified the root cause of this issue which is related to how you specified the sound folders for your various liveries, e.g.: sound = "\..\..\BASE_BA788\soundGEnx" ; sound folder
Although this is valid and works in MSFS2020, our “carry-over” mechanism which processes 2020 packages to make them streamable for MSFS2024 is only looking inside “sound.*” folders to detect sound-related files (sound.xml, *.pck…) - in this specific case, it misses some files which subsequently causes freezes when the aircraft is streamed.
This needs to be addressed on our end because other aircraft may be affected but I don’t have an ETA yet.
Hi @EPellissier
or @Boris
Can you guys please stream our other aircraft? The 787-9.
We are attempting to update it for MCP injection via marketplace 2024.
Thank you.
